i had a thought earlier about figurin' out an rss feed (first figurin' out what rss even is cuz i still dont know) for this website or blog so folk can be notified when i add sum'n
then the though crossed my mind "first im askin' folk to visit my website THEN im askin' em to set up rss, sound like im askin' alot of em"
then it hit me: maybe we need to ask more of each other these days
in today's convenience driven economy, what is most easily accessible usually wins out, not because its good but because its easy. and dat aint guud.
what if we get to the point where our bar for what is an acceptable level of inconvenience is so low to the point where we dont wanna connect with each other no mo'? shit we might be brushin' up against that already
like picture its 50 years down the line and your homeboy dont even wanna speak to you anymore cuz he got a chip in his mind that answers any question he has instantly without him havin' to move his lips
how would that make you feel?
so maybe we do need to ask somethin' of each other cuz the people who is willin' to put in effort and make time for others is someone worth keepin' around
